  • President Donald Trump and Elon Musk are engaged in a public spat amid speculation as to how the Trump-Musk feud might end
  • The genesis of the blowup is, on the surface, political, with the Trump tax and domestic policy bill
  • Musk believes the so-called “Big, Beautiful Bill” would exponentially spike the national debt
  • The two have been dueling on social media with no end in sight
  • Of course, there are odds for how the situation will be resolved

Musk’s Tesla Stock Price

As of this writing, Tesla (TSLA) is at $300.56 per share. Oddsmakers are speculating what TSLA will be worth per share by the end of June.

Share Price Over (Odds) Share Price Under (Odds)
$250.50 (-120) $250.50 (-120)

While the president has significant influence and a loyal MAGA following, many of whom will do what he says regardless of logic or reason, a $50 decline over a month is a lot, particularly for a company as integral as Tesla.

What Will Happen First?

These are two of the most powerful people in the world. The amount of damage they can do to each other is substantial. While Trump is the elected President of the United States, he has more sway by the sheer nature of the job and the levers he has at his disposal. As he has proven in his first term and the first four-plus months of his second term, he is not shy ing it.

By the time you read this and think about wagering, one or more options may already have happened.

What Will Happen 1st? (Odds) What Will Happen 1st? (Odds)
Trump Posts Photoshopped Image/AI Image of Musk (+110) Trump Mentions Musk’s Drug Use (+150)
Trump to Terminate DOGE (+425) Musk Endorses Democratic Party (+1000)
Musk Indicted (+2500) Either Challenges the Other to a Fight (+3300)
Trump Orders ICE to Deport Musk (+5000) Melania to Start Working for Musk (+10000)

Any one of these is perfectly reasonable if not outright predictable. While Trump has yet to comment on Musk’s immigrant status, Steve Bannon, an on-again/off-again Trump adviser, said that SpaceX should be seized and Musk should be deported. Trump has this in his quiver even if he has no intention of using it…yet.

Musk has accused Trump of being on Jeffrey Epstein’s list of island attendees, claiming that this is why the list has yet to be released.

There’s video evidence that the two had a relationship and past glowing notes from Trump about Epstein.

This is escalating quickly and worryingly. If you’re looking for a wager from the above possibilities, the likeliest is Trump mentioning Musk’s drug use.

Trump’s Nickname for Musk

Some of Trump’s nicknames and barbs are better than others. Early in his first campaign for the GOP nomination, calling Jeb Bush “low energy” was the stuff of genius. Calling Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis “Ron DeSanctimonius” was pretty good, too.

So what would Trump’s nickname for Musk be?

Nickname (Odds) Nickname (Odds) Nickname (Odds)
Ego/Egocentric/Egomaniac (+600) Mad (+600) Odd/Oddball (+700)
Addict/Addicted (+800) Autism/Autistic (+1000) Megalomania(c) (+1000)

This isn’t a good wager since none of these ideas are particularly good, but if you must, Odd/Odball probably fits.

“Melon Tusk” might be a winner, but it’s not available to bet on.

Who Will Be Musk’s Next Girlfriend?

While this might seem separate from the political and personal animus between Trump and Musk, there is some overlap since the richest man in the world can almost assuredly secure a date with whomever he wants.

Name (Odds) Name (OddS) Name (Odds)
Katie Miller (-300) Lauren Boebert (+800) Candace Owens (+1600)
Scottie Nell Hughes (+2000) Nancy Mace (+3300) Kayleigh McEnany (+3300)
Laura Loomer (+5000) Katie Britt (+5000) Megyn Kelly (+5000)
Any Member of Trump Family (+5000) Karoline Leavitt (+5000) Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (+50000)
Jasmine Crockett (+50000)
Pick
Katie Miller (-300)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

An understated factor in the Katie Miller odds sitting at -300 is that White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller’s wife works for DOGE.

If the pick is made on personal preferences, the list here goes as follows:

  • Lauren Boebert
  • AOC
  • Nancy Mace
  • Karoline Leavitt
  • Katie Britt
  • Laura Loomer (because it’d be a great story, contingent on surviving)

But if you’re wagering, bet on Katie Miller.

What Are Your Picks For the Trump-Musk Feud?

The rational expectation is that the sides will tamp down the rhetoric and stop fighting, agreeing to disagree, not hurt their party or themselves, and move on.

But what do you think will happen?
