The Cleveland Guardians visit the New York Yankees for a 3-game series in the Bronx. These clubs are longtime rivals and New York won 2 of 3 in Cleveland earlier this season. The Guardians start Tanner Bibee; the Yankees respond with Carlos Rodon.

The Milwaukee Brewers (32-28, 3rd in the NL Central) visit the Cincinnati Reds (29-31, 4th in the NL Central). Brady Singer takes the hill for Cincinnati; Aaron Civale starts for Milwaukee. Both clubs are trying to get into Wild Card contention.

The Chicago White Sox (18-40, 5th place, AL Central) complete their 3-game series against the Baltimore Orioles (21-36, 5th place, AL East). both teams are in last place in their divisions. Chicago's Adrian Ho faces Baltimore's Charlie Morton.

The Boston Red Sox visit the Atlanta Braves for the second game of their 3-game series. Neither team is living up to expectations. To a degree, the Braves have the injury excuse. The Red Sox do not and patience is wearing thin in Boston.
